Hope I am not offending anybody by saying this but wouldn't it have made more sense to have bought a Bongo that had already been converted rather than going through this process?

Surely the point of buying an unconverted one then converting it is the DIY element which is attractive to many (myself ...

Clearance under middle row seats

Please can anyone tell me the clearance (height) under the middle bench seat. I am thinking in terms of the maximum height of box that could be slid completely underneath it.

Also, is there a centre "leg" or is the space clear all the way across with the seat just mounted at the outside edges? If ...
