Free rear centre seats

I have just removed the rear centre seats from my 1995 Bongo.
They are in Doncaster if anyone wants to arrange pickup.
Seats only. No rails.

Re: Anyone in Clitheroe?

Thank you for your replies.
I'll get in touch.
I've watched the videos and looked at the relevant posts. But I'm a believer in letting people who know what they're doing, do their thing before I break something, I can't fix. :?

Anyone in Clitheroe?

I hope I've put this in the correct group. Is there anyone in Clitheroe who can help me sort out the cooling system and bleed.
Im willing to pay.
Or a mobile mechanic who know bongos.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Strange coolant leak issue

Good morning. Thank you for your replies. I will get a combustion test and take it from there. I've got a decision to make if its the head again. I have too many memories wrapped up in the van to let him go. I do live in it full time, so spending 1700 every two years to keep him alive, isn't a bad c...

Re: 4wd light and accelerator

Just to update. I tried to start my van one morning and it just wouldn't start. The batteries were dead. So after a little digging and getting my friend to jump start it. I put a voltmeter to the battery and found that the alternator was over charging my batteries. Two new batteries later and a new ...

Strange coolant leak issue

To begin with....apologies for another post on the coolant system. I think I've read all of them and can't find one with this particular issue. Two years ago, I had the head and head gasket replaced, so I am hesitant to go to that solution right away as it cost me 2k. Plus last time it was the head,...

Re: 4wd light and accelerator

Sorry if this is a daft reply, but I wasn't aware that the 1996 Bongo had a diagnostic port. Any ideas where it may be?
Thanks again.

Re: 4wd light and accelerator

Thank you for your reply
I have a 2.5td 1996 auto bongo and there's an ABS/4WD light on the dash. It only comes on when I press the accelerator pedal. It only started yesterday.
I don't even have to be driving.
I hope that's clarifies things.

4wd light and accelerator

Hi all, I hope you can help.
Apart from many loved bongo seemingly trying to destroy itself, I have an issue with the 4WD light.
It comes on when the accelerator is pressed.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Check fusible link first

After having starting problems for over a week and checking almost everything #-o , changing the fuel filter, changing the glow plugs, changing the o-rings on the fuel pump (there was a slight leak).... the final piece of the puzzle was the relay end of things. I stripped away the insulation from th...
