Re: ABS light on
Usually the wheel sensors are either a connector that has leaked water in, try unplugging the intermediate connector, cleaning and WD40 into both sides before reconnecting, otherwise it maybe a damaged sensor coil itself. The other as it implies will be within the controller module. That'd be the o...

ABS light on
My repair man took out the ABS fuse. I have put a new one in, but the ABS light is still on.
Do I have to do something to clear the error and if so, how?

Re: Starting problem
I couldn't get the bolts out of the starter motor with my pathetic socket set, so settled for hitting it with a hammer. Seemed to do the trick. Not a permanent fix, I am getting a heavier duty socket set and have given the bolts a soak in WD40.

Starting problem
Bongo 2.5 diesel starts when it feels like. Started first time this morning, second time not turning over at all, the AC display goes blank.
This happens most days now, when we are on our way home it won't start. After a few minutes it will start again.
Any ideas?
Hoping we can get to Stourport.

Thanks Geoff, all sorted now. Took it apart and greased the catch. Saved a garage bill.

Re: Driver's door not opening
Nothing unusual has happened as far as I know. I am going to get the panel off and have a look. There seems no resistance on the catch.

Driver's door not opening
The driver's door won't open normally. It goes to half an inch ajar, so I have managed to prise it open to enable me to get the card off from the inside. The key will not open it from the outside, nor will the catch work from the inside even with the pressie thing up. The central locking fob battery...

Re: "Fridge" dilemma in unconverted bongo
Just had a weekend in Swaledale and the coolbox ran fine. Switched off at night but ran it most of the day. Milk and butter kept well. More testing needed with lager!

Re: "Fridge" dilemma in unconverted bongo
I have just got my leisure battery wired up and we are hoping to run the 12V coolbox on it. I think we will run it in the day only and hope for the best!

Re: Poor starting when hot,
The first thing I would check is the Air/clack valve in the fuel cap, even try running the vehicle without the cap. Take care I read this post yesterday and fixed my warm starting problem by loosening the fuel cap. I was having to wait an hour after a run to start again! Many thanks teenmal. :D
