Help! Bongo will only drive 2 mph - after left for 2 months in cold!

Hi, before I call out AA restart, any idea what problem might be?! Engine started but could barely chug along the road. Maybe 1 or 2 mph! I had to abandon bongo after 30 yards, once I found a parking space. I haven’t driven it for over 2 months. It’s just been sitting parked in the cold, probably no...

Re: More sun canopy frustration!

Thanks all.

I hadn't thought of that but maybe F35 better for my purposes. I just want a small canopy in the sun :) , thats easy to put up and down, and doesn't rattle when travelling.

More sun canopy frustration!

Well, I went ahead and bought the Isabella Sun Canopy 240 - and attached it to the figure of 8 when I went away last week. Unfortunately the "flapping" of the canopy in the breeze was an issue at night. It was only a moderate breeze, but it woke me up early morning, even shaking the bongo!...

Re: "Fridge" dilemma in unconverted bongo

Thanks, that all makes sense.

The Aldi one is sold out online, of course!

But at least I know this is probably the direction I need to go in in the future....

"Fridge" dilemma in unconverted bongo

I got some great ideas and help at annual Meetup in June re. my newly purchased unconverted bongo, which was v helpful. But one issue remains - how to keep stuff cold. I didn't really fancy buying a £500 fridge to keep a pint of milk and some bacon cold! OTOH, the camping "ice packs" of ol...

Re: Funky leisure sun canopy

Thanks Ian, I'll take a look at the Outwell Cruise and the video you posted.

It has to be quickish and easyish to put up.

As I said, like others, I don't like the flapping noise some canopies make. Though obviously there will be some noise if its windy.

Re: Funky leisure sun canopy

Hi - Jilly if you see this.

Did you find the Isabella Shadow to be good? Or do you think the Khyam Sun Canopy OK/better?

The least flappiest version would be best I think?

I want something simple and sturdy I can affix to my Figure-of-8 (purchased at the June Bongo Bash).

It was my first time visiting national bash; I learned a lot and had time to relax too!

A big thank you to Ian and all the organisers and helpers. =D>

I am finally a paid-up member :o !

Lovely to meet you all, and also sleep in my bongo for the first time even if it was a bit last minute.

Hi Fellow Travellers,

Still planning to come along but will most likely have to be just the Saturday to Sunday, as I've been poorly recently. Planning to get there sometime Saturday early afternoon.

Have booked with Tuckers, and looking forward to it!

It will also be my first trip out in my bongo.

An historic moment!

Look forward to meeting you all.
