Re: High idle in N and P - 2.5D

You're right, it is idling at 800 normally, running up to 1600ish. Usually when it's not been running more than 1/2 hour. No work done recently, serviced late 2017 and has done 3-4k since then. Gear changes are fine. I think I'll sort my filters anyway, just to see what happens.

High idle in N and P - 2.5D

Hi all

My 2.5 diesel is idling high in N and P, usually idles around 1k, but is revving up to 2k sometimes. Seems to happen more on short runs, but it's not exclusive. Any ideas?

Re: Fitting new seat pads to an existing RnR bed

Mine just rest on the plywood board for the seats and the back part is made with "straps" over the top so that it just rests in position over the raised back sections. When its all flat then the they all butt together to make the matteress. Thaks for the idea, I need them to stay on quite...

spent days trying to work this one out in various over-complicated ways, never thought of good, old-fashioned, heavy-duty velcro. That's made my day! Thank you

Fitting new seat pads to an existing RnR bed

I've just had some seat pads made to go on my existing rock n roll bed, but there's no obvious way of securing them to the frame. The manufacturer just said screw them on, but a) the backing is hardboard so screws will not take long to rip out b) the shaper end of the screws will eventually rip thro...
