Re: water in passenger footwell
After years of finding water under the carpet in either the driver's side or, occasionally, the passenger side and trying various things, I have finally solved the mystery. Rainwater was getting in through the windscreen seal at the top. Some OC1 sealant solved the problem.

Re: water in passenger footwell
Hi. I hope that you have solved your problem of water getting into the footwell. I, too, had the same problem on both the passenger and driver sides. I cured the problem using a lot of outdoor silicone sealant: 1. Sealing under the rubber strip which runs along the drainage channel (I found that wat...

Re: Tiny water leaks! Engine and footwell
Hi. I've had the same problem with water in the driver's side footwell. I think I've traced it to rainwater dripping from the windscreen channel and getting onto the bulkhead above the driver's footwell. I put a small amount of water with fluorescein tracer on the bulkhead and (somehow) it made its ...

I've studied the wiring diagrams and read everything I can on the forum but can't work out what is going on...

Re: Nearside electric window problem...
Yes, I had problems with the central locking a while ago and found that it was a break in the yellow wire.
Thanks for your help

Re: Nearside electric window problem...
Hi. :) A common electrical fault is where the loom passes from the A pillar into the door, usualy the driver's side. If you strip off some of the insulation often you can see breaks in the wires and/or insulation. Easy enough to solder in a short extra piece, or new looms are available, but not che...
