Injector leak
Hi bongoers, Just done oil and fuel filter change and noticed bubbling around one of the injectors. It looks like fuel leaking from the injector. Do you think I will just need to replace the crush washer? Or is there anything else I should be considering? Like this one https://mazdabongo.com/product...

Re: Alternator Amp rating
There was nothing on the alternator to identify. There was only the code on the box that referred to an 80A alternator.
I have fitted it and everything seems to be running well so far.

Alternator Amp rating
Hi, I bought a 90A alternator from https://www.startermotor-alternator-store.co.uk/mazda-bongo--90-amp-alternator--25d-x28a1633x29-2681-p.asp for my 2000 2.5 diesel and while it seems to have the same mount positions on first glance, the box has a code for an 80Amp alternator from plusline parts. I ...

Re: Wastegate Actuator issues
I got OEM part number WLB218740 with K5T48394 stamped on part, genuine mazda from ava mazda bongo parts on eBay. Its the only one with the small brass (?) insert in one of the connectors that I could find. Don't know what difference that makes. The malfunctioning one had a different part number and ...

Re: Coolant alarm
Thanks - just an update - I contacted Jo who sent me instructions and advice! I rewired to the ignition switched 12v as suggested, into the front of the fuse box and included an inline fuse. Also replaced the scotchloks with crimped connectors. It's all working as it should now so thanks very much f...

Re: Wastegate Actuator issues
Fixed this by replacing the waste actuator vacuum solenoid. Clicking meant it was on its way out.

Re: Banjo Filter
Thanks, that's what I had read but have a look at these diagrams. Maybe the diagrams aren't conclusive though. Here's the pump including the filter: https://i.imgur.com/eu0N7A8.png And here's the drive by wire pump: https://i.imgur.com/aNvHFWO.png However I've also just seen the earlier pump diagram...

Banjo Filter
I went to clean the banjo filter on my 2000 drive by wire diesel, there isn't one in there. I was helpfully directed to some fuel pump diagrams and it seems like the drive by wire pump doesn't have a filter but the pre 2000 diesels did. Can anyone confirm this and why they would not continue fitting...

Wastegate Actuator issues
Hello Bongo Experts I hope you can help me, I've had an intermittent flashing glow plug, p1228 and p1189 for the last few days, it will come on when the engine has warmed up for about 15 minutes and doesn't seem to come with limp mode. I've had the van for a month. I've read quite a lot of posts as ...
