Re: Free: Rear bench seat
Hi my bongo is in harlow essex at the moment the seat itself is easy to remove as it has 4 bolts holding it onto the sliders, I haven't taken the sliders out of the rails before but looking at video's of people doing it, it looks pretty easy. If someone is interested and wants it then I will get it ...

Re: Free: Rear bench seat
Here is some pictures of the bench seat, If someone wants it.
It does have a storage unit I roughly made that's on sliders so you can pull it out and cook on it etc, If anyone wants that too.

Free: Rear bench seat
Hi All,
I'm doing work on my bongo and going to do a conversion whilst i'm doing welding work.
I don't need one of the bench seats anymore so if someone wants it. My bongo is a 2001 model.
I will see if I can put some pictures up.

Re: Middle seat
Hi Bob,
Are you still looking for a rear bench seat, as I need to get rid of one of mine as I'm doing a conversion.
Regards Rob

Re: EGR Blanking
Just a quick one, The idea of a egr system is to take some of the exhaust gases and recirculate them into the intake to reburn partially burnt fuel to lower the NOx gases released into the air. I think it a bit negligible how much this has an affect on the amount of NOx gasses are released as the eg...

Re: EGR Blanking
Ok well I'll make some more anyway then it's your choice if you want to do it, at the end of the day your engine will run smoother and cleaner, I think your chance of getting in trouble for the egr being blanked off is pretty slim, found an interesting piece on a website about the legality of blanki...

Re: EGR Blanking
Hi All After reading on here about EGR blanking and speaking to my dad that used to blank them off on race cars as it's loss of power etc and really not needed but obviously has to be done for emissions wise. I have opted to Blank it off to stop all the gunk getting into the inlet to hopefully prev...

Re: Centre console switch panel
There a good Idea I was looking at getting one but as I new what draw I have on the battery using a multi meter I'm wanting to isolate things like the dvd player, android stereo etc as they don't fully turn off. and I have bought a couple 500A 12v Isolaters so I can disconnect the vehicle battery an...

Re: Centre console switch panel
That really Interesting,
It is amazing how far technology has come along in scanning speed and accuracy, I use it every day of the
week to scan engine's, gearboxes, chassis etc and it makes my life easier to design up parts. But there an expensive bit of kit.

Re: Battery Cable
It's all going to depend on what amperage you plan on pulling on your inverter.
I tend to use silicone wire which is usually good quality. chart below for what gauge wire you need for what current it will take.

Thats a clever system would be nice to have that on mine instead of the voltage sensitive split charger.

Re: Leisure battery output
Ah That's interesting not seen that before, it sounds like a split charger but with two wires instead of one maybe it's reversible for when the vehicle battery runs low it kicks in and connects the two together. Have you got a picture of it? Mabye something like this. https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/...

Re: Leisure battery output
Ah maybe it's an immobiliser then as it does look like it has some small holes in it for one of those key things you push into it to deactivate it, Possibly but someone else might have a better Idea. With on the picture of the drivers side battery. the cable that's coming of there that has the block...

Re: Leisure battery output
I would say the red light thingy on the left is probably the low coolant alarm because I have something similar and the toggle switch on the right is probably something like fog lights. If it's a single wire going from the battery to a fuse box type thing that is most likely the split charger. If yo...
