Hi my bongo is in harlow essex at the moment the seat itself is easy to remove as it has 4 bolts holding it onto the sliders, I haven't taken the sliders out of the rails before but looking at video's of people doing it, it looks pretty easy. It does have a storage unit I roughly made that's on sliders so you can pull it out and cook on it etc, If anyone wants that too.

I'm doing work on my bongo and going to do a conversion whilst i'm doing welding work.
I don't need one of the bench seats anymore so if someone wants it. My bongo is a 2001 model.

It is amazing how far technology has come along in scanning speed and accuracy, I use it every day of the
week to scan engine's, gearboxes, chassis etc and it makes my life easier to design up parts. But there an expensive bit of kit.

It's all going to depend on what amperage you plan on pulling on your inverter.
I tend to use silicone wire which is usually good quality. chart below for what gauge wire you need for what current it will take.

Thats a clever system would be nice to have that on mine instead of the voltage sensitive split charger.

Ah That's interesting not seen that before, it sounds like a split charger but with two wires instead of one maybe it's reversible for when the vehicle battery runs low it kicks in and connects the two together.
