That's a good point, I think it's easy to get a duct down to the passenger's footwell. my main issue is the ducting for heat to get to centre console doesn't seem easy as there is little gap between the engine and underside of the seat.

Just took the plunge an brought a Chinese diesel heater and mounted it under the passenger seat and have a few questions.
I presume this has to have the heat extracted near the sliding door as anywhere else needs a massive amount of ducting?
Is it okay to take air from under passenger seat and heat ...
