Hi
Someone I met whilst camping last weekend (cold!) had a Bongo for several years and advised me to fit a coolant sensor. Is this a good idea, and is it expensive?
best wishes Dave

Re: Starting life with our Bongo Friendee 2L petrol
To Bob and Geoff Many thanks for your replies. Not sure how to reply individually apart from using Private Message. Re coolbox and leisure battery. I am aware that the leisure battery powers things on board but we haven't got round to really making use of facilities yet as our first trip is on Satur...

Starting life with our Bongo Friendee 2L petrol
Having just bought a Bongo Friendee and mindful of limitations of space inside could any member give me a list of what they have found useful essentials for the journey to the cost. We have the clothes, two seats for the beach, towels.......... any tips would be welcome! We are so green we are strug...

Re: Friendee 2005 2L Petrol - problem of parking gear light stays on when ignition off
Geoff - many thanks for your post. I will keep this in mind if this problem persists. I wouldn't have thought someone has done that witht the wires because the previous owner had it for three years without a problem and didn't get it serviced, but I will monitor situation. Going for first big outing...

Geoff - thanks for your useful reply. I will ask mechanic to check it when I get my new spare part fitted (exhaust Lambard sensor - cost £270!)

Re: Friendee 2005 2L Petrol - problem of parking gear light stays on when ignition off
I am repl;ying to myself! You all probably think I am a bit stupid but I've got it to go out - I just pressed the footbrake! Is this normal? I had tried everything and I am sure I included that - but when I tried it again later - the light went out!
Thanks all!
Thanks all!

Friendee 2005 2L Petrol - problem of parking gear light stays on when ignition off
URGENT - Can anyone help? Just bought my Bonfo Friendee 2005 2L Auto Petrol campervan - it's lovely, and just fitted a steering lock. Whatever I did fiddling with fitting it I must have touched a switch. What has happened now is that the orange light against the automatic gear level for parking (P) ...

Re: Stoplock Pro Elite - does it fit Bongos? And exhaust sensor.
Have just bought a very nice Bongo - now trying to make it secure. I am told that it is not worth buying an immobiliser as thieves can easily deal with it. Does anyone know if one can get an immobiliser that is reasonably priced, easy to fit, and works? Also regarding the Stoplock Pro Elite - I beli...
