So, we've hit upon a bigger problem - overheating yet again #-o (in April I only had the head gasket changed).
Drove it about 2 miles on the weekend and temp rocketed up & tank bubbling, put new coolant in see-saw method for getting the air ...

Re: Flashing Glow Plug Light - unable to diagnose
Ok so the plan is...
- Measure across the LB when car is running
- Disconnect the -ve from the LB and charge main battery (I think the split charge is working as the main battery is never reaching a 'full'

Re: Flashing Glow Plug Light - unable to diagnose
Thanks Ian
I am more thinking it's either the split charger or LB that the issue is with now as I fully charged the LB before transferring over to charge the main battery directly. It had been on charge for about 12 hours and reached 14.4 but never actually clicked over the 'full' on the charger so ...

Re: Flashing Glow Plug Light - unable to diagnose
Thanks Ian - so it should flash with a coded sequence? If I am honest, when it's flashing it's pretty consistent.

Re: Flashing Glow Plug Light - unable to diagnose
gilly99 - Thanks, multimeter on the way so that'll be something for the weekend. Try and diagnose the issue
WeskyK - The leisure battery does power what you mentioned and it went flat before(I think when it was in the garage and having quite a bit of work) and I fully charged it back and then came ...

Flashing Glow Plug Light - unable to diagnose
Evening all, just got back from Glastonbury and have a bit of an issue with the Bongo.
We've had it before as well but I really want to sort it now as we've just had a new head gasket on it and loads of welding thanks to A&S Motors in Caerphilly South Wales to get out and do some further exploring ...

Re: Anyone know what this is??
I did notice that the scavenger fan didn’t come on after a 70 mile drive this week so not sure if it could be connected to this somehow.
It does go by the handbrake but then under driver seat

Re: Anyone know what this is??
Thanks so much Geoff.
It doesn't look to be connected to anything and the one cable goes really far under the steering column and can't really follow it.
Will likely tape it up and secure it, then leave the mechanic take a look when they have it(no doubt to look at something else)

Hey Bongo Fury Crew,
Long time reader, first time poster here!
Sorry if this is a duplication of something else on here or in the wrong place but really didn't know what to search for in the first instance to establish what it is!
We've had Bailey (2.5L Diesel post-99) since July last year, got a ...
