Re: Coolant replacement query
Mines the same, changed thermostat and coolant, did the bleeding procedure with rusty's bleed kit instructions, bottom hose never got warm but probably due to low temperatures

Re: No heat from front blowers
I've just recently done a coolant change and matrix flush
Can I just change the thermostat or do I have to drop some coolant and where is the best place to drop it, I usually just undo bottom radiator hose
Thanks

Re: No heat from front blowers
Drove for 30 mins, temperature gauge reached 11 o'clock after 8 mins and remained there throughout the journey
Different modes worked off the digital controls , feet, windscreen etc
Went to air con and recirc at 18 degrees
Got some very lukewarm air at 21 degrees and no change up to 32 degrees
Top ...

Re: No heat from front blowers
Checked linkages and both sides appear to be working fine
I'll take temperature readings from matrix hoses and radiator hoses in morning

Re: No heat from front blowers
Yes I got good flow through the heater matrix when flushing through both forwards and in reverse
Yes upto temperature and the needle stays at 11 o'clock
Could it be the thermostat stuck open, would that cause loss of heat

No heat from front blowers
I have a 1999 2.5 td and I'm not getting any heat from the front blowers, sometimes very lukewarm if set to 32, digital controls
I've done a coolant change
I've flushed through front matrix
Cleaned the cabin sensor
Anyone any other ideas ?

Coolant change with bleed kit
Hi, I've done a coolant change on my 99 2.5td bongo
It is fitted with a rusty's bleed kit, i squeezed the hose bottom of radiator and going into engine numerous times, the level seems stable however the air ftom the heating system isn't very warm
I've driven it for about an hour and it seems to run ...

Re: Electrics: Hold Light irregular Flashing, Speedo not working
I had a similar problem with the rev counter working intermittently and speedo being erratic then they both stopped working, I ordered a ne sensor from aliexpress about £12 , takes 5 minutes to swap and had no problems since

Not too difficult to replace from under passenger's seat.

Rev counter erratic
Hi, my rev counter on my 1999 2.5td has started being erratic or not working at all, having read through some posts it seems the most likely problem is a ne sensor or pulse generator, I have looked at the schematics but they don't help me a lot
Should I be able to get to it from under the drivers ...
