I have replaced the cold start solenoids and vacuum lines previously which didn't help at all.

I noticed this today, it seems the cold start mechanism engages and then springs back immediately, there is also no change ...

Hi all, recently purchased a 1997 bongo and having a persistent gearbox fault where the hold light is flashing and not changing into 4th gear. All other gears work fine and speed isn't limited. No other gear boxes issues afaik, shifts smoothly and correctly,. Speedo and tacho working fine.
