Re: At last HOTWATER in a BONGO and FREDA!
It's a pump thermos flask. i fill it before leaving home and it will stay hot enough to make a drink for a good long while. If I'm on a site with running hot water i just fill it from the tap occasionally or just boil the kettle once in a while. its not quite running hot water but simple and conveni...

Re: What's knocking?
Thanks for the replies.
The garage definetly said the bushes and not the ball joint.
There are some on ebay but I'm not happy buying them unless I know they are at least reasonable quality.
I'll give your suggestions a go.

Re: What's knocking?
The mystery is solved, just picked up my van from the garage and they say it's the wishbone bushes.
They couldn't get hold of any for 6 weeks, I've found a few on ebay, etc but I don't know what quality I'll be getting.
Can any recommend a source for decent ones please?

What's knocking?
Got the tell tail drop link knocking (again!) but where is it coming, front or rear?
Is there an easy way of telling which ones need replacing?

Re: New brake caliper
Yes, I believe it is. ca2378 is a single pot caliper but our Bongos (aka Friendee) are twin pots on the front so I'm guessing that's for "the other Bongo" (Mazda E series aka Brawny) There are two Mazda vans known as "Bongo" so maybe that's where the confusion is. The links I pos...

How does that bench seat swivel then, that would save me no end of trouble. Perhaps that could be your next project Dave! Nice front swivel btw

Re: Willinton Wiring
You're right Kirsty, removing the starter battery -ve is going to cut power to the all the stuff that still runs off the SB so scratch that. Doh! Going back to my first set of instructions is the best bet, just be careful you don't short the +ve charge cable to the chassis with your spanner w...

Re: Willinton Wiring
surely step 2) should be to remove the fuse in the Willinton power lead, starter battery side, not the leisure battery side? Doesn't matter. Since we connected the two cables together in 1) it's the effectively now a single cable we're just trying to disconnect the two batteries, so either or will ...

Re: Willinton Wiring
Shame, never mind there is a way around it. 1) Remove the willington +ve power cable that feeds the leisure battery from the relay binding post and move it to the other relay binding post you are bypassing the relay. The effect will be that both batteries will still charge. 2) Whilst pitched up remo...
