Thanks all
I will break out the avo once the van is back from the menders. Gearbox, leisure battery and broken awning. An expensive trip.
I bought the van already converted, how do I remove the fridge to check the voltage it is receiving?

Waeco fridge help
Hi all, hope someone can help
I am not sure my waeco fridge is working correctly.
It works fine on hook up and whilst engine running
when engine is off, it powers up for 4-6 seconds at a time but does not cool at all.
the light works so power is getting to the fridge.
Many Thanks

That Thule rack looks good, what fitting kit did you use? No Bongo option on Thule site

Re: Sound proofing
I'm not sure dynamat would be a good idea as it restricts heat flow too and a bongo needs all the coolng help it can get

Had a flat and had to use the worrying spacesaver, where can I get a full size spare from, at what approx price and how much ground clearance will I lose fitting one?
Thanks in advance

Noisy shifting
Poorly bongo, makes a loud scraping noise when shifting up and down between two of the gears, not sure which two, particularly so when climbing a hill. Shifts fine on the flat.
Any ideas what has gone wrong, is it an expensive fix?
Thanks
Ian

drowned split charge relay
Hi
I've got problems with my leisure battery not charging. My bongo came ready converted, with the split charge relay housed in a grey project box with a cut out for the blade fuse holders (3X30amp).
Any way on investigation, I found the project box full of rusty water from our so called summer ...

These look just the ticket to get my kayaks on the roof of the bongo. Has anyone used one?

Cutting spoiler for bike rack
I'm still puzzling over bike racks. I was going to fit a fiamma pro c (thanks for all your advice haydn) but my mechanic doesnt believe the door to be strong enough.
So I think the way forward is a vw carry bike but my bongo has a spoiler fitted.
How easy is it to remove the spoiler all together ...
