Awning Skirt and Cobb BBQ fuel

Hey folks, we're ex Bongo owners about to emigrate to Oz but as we're clearing out the house we are coming across Bongo bits. Just found an awning skirt which I think we bought from the Bongo shop, anyone want it? Rather it was picked up in the Glasgow area. Also we have a Cobb BBQ which is coming w...

Stainless Steel exhaust and winter pack

Hey folks, it's getting that time of year when the Bongo will be back on the road for the lovely winter. Looks like I'm going to need a new exhaust and I'm think along the lines of a stainless one like here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BONGO-EXHAUST-MAZDA-COMPLETE-STAINLESS-STEEL-SYSTEM-/170558530073?pt=UK...

Re: Tour of the Hebrides

Nice photos, we have lots amazingly similiar! The one your missing is of the Barra flight landing in front of your Bongo. I took it from the Eriskay ferry, that was where we rushed off to that morning. I'll get them uploaded. Nice literally bumping into you round most corners!

Re: Mazda Silver Colours

Aha, you've got Highlight Silver, and without checking, I think the code is 18G, you can check it on the factsheets. Our Bongo has the wrong paint code stamped on it, I know you're going to think that's dodgy, believe me, it isn't, it was only when I got the paint matching the codes and started spra...

Re: Leisure battery and Optimate

Ah Muz, glad you're here, should I plug Bongo into mains via electric hook up on drivers side or plug it into a charger hooked on to the battery?

Re: Leisure battery and Optimate

It's an Imperial Lulworth, so I reckon the wiring is all okay, the fridge is a waeco compressor, we bought the Bongo privately but did get all the manuals, the CBE one is not the most comprehensive. I'm going to track down our multimeter tomorrow.

Leisure battery and Optimate

Our Bongo has a lovely 100ah Elecsol Leisure battery fitted alongwith all CBE electrical and charging equipment. We were away last weekend and didn't have a hook up and I was kinda disappointed with the leisure battery performance. We had the fridge running and also a 12v tv but the the 'low battery...
