Hi all, My friends Bongo, a 96 plate 4wd AFT diesel does not want to rev over 1500rpm, the fuel pick up has been checked and cleaned a new fuel filter whacked on and all fuel lines checked but still no joy, any other pointers to the cause would be greatly appreciated, thanks ever so much in advance ...

If you click on the plus sign on the description on the left it gives the part no, description & drawing no. Is that bit a flexi, it's not clear on the drawing? It may be as well to replace the whole section & get rid of the cold start bit (if you don't use it?), just fit the standard 40-05...

Ahh Kirsty you are an angel that diagram is a big help thank you. I think its the 40-110 A part, if so what is that called for purposes of asking / finding where to buy, is it the middle pipe? Yeah sorry guess it would be the cold start valve. Thanks again

I have been told my exhaust has sheared its the section between a flexi bit of exhaust and the EGR valve thing i think, can you just buy this section, if so what / where can i look for this part?? I can only too recently hail the pros off the low coolant alarm. Mine flashed up on Friday, i stopped and checked the water level to find it was sat about half way between max and min, so dropped bus down to garage who said my water pump was leaking, pump changed bongo fine no further damage. Cannot...

Well it turned out to be none of the above, always the way :shock: :lol: , it was some other little box of goodies that had failed i will find out the technical name for it and post it on here so we then have another possible cause to this issue should some one else get the same problem.
