Re: Removed EGR,Can i Re-use the Solenoids??

to fix the stubs, fit a roll pin into the hole, get the next size up roll pin then push over the first then surround the stub with epoxy glue. this should give you the correct size stub for the pipe to fit onto. leave room for the pipe to go on.and make sure the slots in the roll pins are missalign...

Re: Removed EGR,Can i Re-use the Solenoids??

I'm not entirely sure...? But, i seem to remember Kirsty (missfixit) replace at least the most forward one when her's packed up with an egr solenoid. (I think it has a white dot?) That switches idle with the AC... Now i'm not sure if the block/electrical connectors are the same? but you could alway...

Re: Bongo shop cylinder head

One thing I should mention is that it is generally assumed when purchasing a major engine component such as a head; that a degree of 'general' operating knowledge and fitting proceedures be at the expense of the purchaser. All of you know what I went through; and greatest gift I can give back is wh...

Oil feed pipe/dowels

Hi
Does anyone know if the oil feed pipe on the cylinder block can be left in place when re fitting a new head?
Also i only seem to have one locating pin on my head and there is no sign of there being another one there at all!

Re: Head removal

I will call you on tuesday to discuss.... timmyt join me in a chorus - and you give yourself away - i can't live, with or without you.... whooo ooooo repeat until the deal i...
