Re: Scotland tour 2016
I can also confirm that the Electric Brae doesn't work with marbles either
I remember my Dad stopping the car in the middle of the road back in the 70's
while I got out and rolled some marbles up/down the road

Some seriously expensive vans up for sale there but the biggest

good idea!

Re: Glencoe mountain resort
Hi Glencoe mountain's facebook page states you can camp for free over the winter. I messaged them to check about campervans and the reply was £15 per night for hook up and water. When I explained we're unconverted so can't use hook up, they said I could park in the car park for free. Sara We always...

Re: glamping
Hi Nice change from being cramped in the van but I do feel a little guilty. I wouldn't feel guilty We had a week up on Skye a couple of weeks ago, don't think it would've been fun in a Bongo http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu229/mulshy_bucket/DSC_0244_zps1nzth08i.jpg http://i650.photobucket.com/a...

Just bumping this up the forum. 10 or 11 vans coming from the Facebook page and a few from here hopefully. Said I'd give the site a ring with rough numbers so if anyone else is interested let me know. Sara. Sara,I'd say we are certain to turn up,hoping to get out and do a bit of foraging on Saturda...

Re: Red Squirrel campsite, 18th 19th September
Love to come Sara, But I am a bit nervous now that I no longer have a Bongo. Have you seen any 2WD 6m long motorhomes at Red Squirrel lately. Seen one of these last time we were up the squirrel Tony! http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu229/mulshy_bucket/Red%20Squirrel%20July%202015%20003_zpsyppjqy...

Re: Wild camping on Skye
Would really prefer to avoid proper campsites. Our thoughts as well, though everytime we're on Skye we end up at Glen Brittle campsite https://www.coolcamping.co.uk/campsites/uk/scotland/scottish-isles/isle-of-skye/95-glenbrittle It's where Danny Macaskill done his front flip when making 'The Ridge'...

Does anyone know if it's still possible to camp in Glen Etive? I had heard they were trying to put a stop to it a bit like the ban at Loch Lomond. Sara Not been down there since last year when we were talking to a NTS ranger in the Clachaig about their litter problem,we picked up 2 empty pot noodle...
