Re: Mystery switch

It's the 'Test your passengers sense of humour' switch How it works, a) Spend an evening eating Curry, Cabbage, Baked Beans, Lentils and wash it down with some fizzy pop b) Go for long drive (with passenger) c) Turn off passenger window d) Chuckle like a demented school boy whilst your passenger gas...

Re: Chrome mirror covers - any tips for removal?

Use a hairdryer to heat up the cover to soften the adhesive. Then it's gonna take some brute force to separate them.

Re: facelift for a facelift

Nice! So now you have an Aero grille too Scott! Don't they fill the moulded swageline on top of the bumper way better than a standard new shape grille? Look after it though mate...Nearly £400 for a new one! ( I should know) :? It does look much better than the old one, also rounds of...

Re: So far so good?

They were from a heavily modified bongo fresh from Japan Scott... I'd never seen a set before either! Dave just happened to be browsing the right place, at the right time, and the deal was struck... I did enjoy the feel of them briefly whilst i carboned them up for Dave though! They do look t...

Re: Bra on or Bra off.....lets talk about Bra's

I've had mine for a couple of years now. It goes on the van at the beginning of the summer and comes off at the end. My old car looked like it had been used for target practice after driving round here when the roads were resurfaced, not wanting the same for the van I got the bra. No damage to the p...

Re: facelift for a facelift

I really wanted a silver and white bonnet bra but no-one made one :( I only have it on during 'road surfacing time' round here, my honda looked like it was shot with a machine gun before it went a couple of months ago, don't want it happening to the van too and this one was a present so it would be ...

facelift for a facelift

I've always preferred the newer shape grill to the style with the slats on the new shape vans. I finally found one on eBay and I think it makes a tidy little update :D New Grill :D http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q129/cscottmcqueen/Bongo/aef0cbb9.jpg Old Grill :( http://i135.photobucket.com/album...

Re: Minor pimps to my bongo

Love the magnet idea, ive just got a couple to hold my skirt  in place

It came from the Bongo Shop and has an elastic rope with a couple of clips on either end, sags like hell in the middle so a couple of decent magnets cure this :D

Re: So far so good?

Depending on how many lights you need to cover, i would say from about £20 to £30 for the flyeye. Me and bigdaddy covered all the lights and spots and the reflective strip on the back door. Plus a little bit of carbon fibre for the eyebrows. http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s143/daveblueozzie/IMG...

Re: bongo of the future

What you need is one of these bad boys! http://www.steinwinter.com/ All you need then is a 5th wheel type motorhome for he back of it :D Funny enough back in the 80's there was a series called the highwayman with Sam Jones, I only caught it a few times as it was on early morning. The Highwayman had ...
