Toddington Bongolians
A big thank you to Paul for organising our 10th anniversary meet.
Nice to see you all and we thought it was a really good turn out
considering what felt like sub zero temps (the feeling has only just returned to our feet!)
Cheers for now

Re: Help! drivers door won't open.
Hi Lads
Many thanks for your quick replies.
Door card off - it turned out to be a linkage problem, the little white plastic clip which is cramped round the connecting rod had split apart, just needed the rod put back in position and the clip crimped closed.
Thanks again Gray

Help! drivers door won't open.
Hi there
My Daughter has a 98 2 ltr Bongo. When she puts the key in the drivers door all the internal thingees pop up, all doors open except the drivers . She is coming over tommorow expecting me to fix it - would be grateful for any ideas.
Thanx in advance
Gray

Re: Solar starter battery charger
Having measured the out put of various small solar panals anything less than a 10watt jobby will be a waste of money especially in the winter.

Re: One for the central locking techies
Thanks for all your replies.
Chris the answer to your question is no!
It does lock automatically if you unlock it and don't open a door, but seems to lock itself when the side door is opened after about 30 seconds.

Re: 2.0 or 2.5 Petrol
As the man said "each to there own"
But got to agree with Terry. Having driven all three the diesel is noisy, the v6 thirsty and the 2ltr is just fine providing you don't want to tow a tank.

Wiring remote central locking!
Hi There. Has anybody had any experience with those remote kits you can get off e.bay.They convert key type central locking to remote - Just looks like a black box with a bunch of wires coming out and 2 remote key fobs. They say they will fit any vehicle? How easy would it be to fit to a Bongo? Any ...

Re: Charged as a campervan on EuroTunnel
As a complete novice in crossing the water. Can you just drive down to Euro tunnel and pay for the crossing there and then without booking?
And if so what would be the approx cost of this?
Also can you do it the other end on the way back?
Thanx in Advance
