Re: Mason alarm going off (part 2)

I honestly can't remember!

I'm going to guess either 3.5 4. Set it low as I wanted to know when I had problems.

I need to take the dash off for the MOT (another story) so will have a look and get back to you be a week or so

Re: Mason alarm going off (part 2)

OH forgot

I put the heaters on full, when that brought the temp gauge down,

started to think I needed more radiator performance.

which is what helped me to decide to get a new radiator.

Re: Should I be worried by empty expansion tank?

(scratched all over. and no NO bolts holding the rear wheel arch on. wheel arch dropped and rubbed and caught on the rear wheel.) Flat bed recovered back to Coventry Audi, recovery truck broke...

Re: Should I be worried by empty expansion tank?

thanks for the update. woz worried for you. But you seem to have got it slowly sorted. Might I be so bold as to suggest you take a holiday near a bongo specialist and get it look over and serviced. Then you can begin to trust it and work out the work that needs to be done. And get out and about in y...

Re: recent coolent service

Hi Jaylee Not sure I was so high that I stated to trip and imagine that the temp gauge was too hot. But thanks for the update. Interesting what you get when you look up "high" on the net. Will keep the radiator for a week or two. and then down the tip. As it's already getting dirty looks c...

Re: recent coolent service

Thanks for the reply's everyone. Yes see all your points about thinner air and higher temps. Must have stirred things up in the coolent system as when I got back the bongo was running much hotter than usual. Mason alarm went off quite a few times on the way back from portsmouth. When usually it won'...
