Re: Tow Bar that cant take the strain!
Sounds like a rubbish towbar. Bike rack and bikes and it bends, caravan fully loaded and it overtakes you down the motorway. Take it back and get a refund. Not fit for the purpose etc. The small weight you are carrying should have no effect on any towbar. A major redesign is in order or decent const...

Hold up button and give it a wee push to help it.
We all need a helping hand sometime.
Level ground is a must for mine or it gets stuck, just like yours.

Re: Rising revs & lack of power ??? What's up with my dear B
Seems to be a problem after 3000 revs and no power and engine starts to give trouble. When does the turbo kick in and is it working. Could be a simple turbo clean adjust etc. Filter tight was just a filtration problem, alternative fuel is thicker and some filters stop it getting through. Decent gara...

Re: Radically Uneven Front Tyre Wear . . .
Looks like tracking is out.
Check track rod ends, wheel bearing play and steering rack security.
Wheel nuts as well.
Took 2000 miles to get there and no other problems, tracking is first choice.

Re: Rising revs & lack of power ??? What's up with my dear B
WHat is coming out of the exhaust when it struggles. Did you do anything to the bongo just before problem. Proper fuel filter replacement, too tight for non pure diesel. As said before, run on pure diesel to see if fuel is problem. Pipe from tank to filter cut squashed etc. Pipe at filter have washe...

Re: Poor fuel consumption - answer found Mk2 (I think) !!
Try exhausting the brake servo and see if this also lets the brakes release.
Just press the brake pedal a few times until it is empty, engine off.
This assumes that a bongo runs a normal servo.

Re: Help!! I think i've cooked the cylinder head.
What condition was the cambelt.
If the camshaft is pinched by the out of alignment bearing carriers, the cambelt would have to work harder to drag the shaft around. Did the belt fail/slip and cause valve/piston collision and then the camshaft snapped.

Re: Horn not working.....
Check wires at horn for 12v using a multimeter.
If 12v are there, new horn needed.
Easiest place to start.
Or fuse first

Re: Intermittent stiff/screechy sliding door
When door is open, if you give it a little push in at the back and it slides easier, the "hinge" is needing a little lube. This is the one in the middle rear and it holds the runner. This was causing my door to stick.
