Re: FREETOP ROOF RACK

That's an auction Bob so price will no doubt go up and I need them for the weekend.

The first ones you linked to are just down the road from me and as Bongo specialists they fit them for you.

Think I will make a trip and take my ladder with me to make sure it fits ok :)

Re: FREETOP ROOF RACK

Thanks Bob.

I already have the ladder which is specific to my needs so changing that isn't an option.

Lobbing my mate in the back would be a great idea if it wasn't full of tools so no room there either.

Thanks for the link to the other thread. I will take a read.

Cheers

FREETOP ROOF RACK

Hi all. I have a freetop Bongo that I have so far been carrying a large ladder in that squeezes right up to the windscreen over the passenger seat. Now I need to start taking someone with me! So I was wondering if there was a relatively low cost option of a roof rack that I can put my ladder on to s...

Along the way I would guess I did loads wrong. But not attaching the yellow and orange wires wouldn't have helped.

So chuffed with it, thanks again.

Thanks guys. Will report back in tomorrow.

I have definitely made errors along the way, but my head is clear to go in tomorrow and get it sorted.

Re: Removing a front door panel

Hi Callum, thanks again. My actuator has just two wires. I don't plan on running anything else into it or from it. It seems to work when I put the ends on a battery. My problem seems to be getting power to it. Are you saying that if I take my 'box' and 'motor', I just need to put all my +ves and all...

Re: Removing a front door panel

Aye up, For help with how to fit the actuator, google "installing an actuator for remote mazda bongo", it will throw up a link to the " other site" where someone has kindly written up how they did it in the form of a pdf with pictures. I used it and it worked a treat. Oh dear. I...

Re: Removing a front door panel

Hey Geoff... or any other clever person... HEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP :D So today I took a dive in. This is how it went. The items I have purchased I would say are identical to those shown here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vx1t1ZOyP-E I have lots of cables coming out the remote unit. Going by t...

Re: Removing a front door panel

Thanks again Geoff. To be honest, I am struggling with the wiring diagrams having not seen one before. But a bigger struggle is where to put this lump of a motor. It seems no matter where I locate it, the window is going to smash into it. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to access the existing l...

Re: Removing a front door panel

Ok decided to give up on the lights then. But... I... err... Well I managed to get the panel off. I was expecting to see the door lock at the top with some kind of electronic unit under it to control the other locks. But it seems to be one long bar to some hidden space at the bottom of the door. Her...
