noticed a knocking on the back end this weekend and on investigation it was pretty obvious it was the drop links.

yes i had been monitoring a slight loss and the pressure test found it. i have ordered a water pump from JAS, so will be fitting it when it arrives and doing another pressure test to check the system again.

well the hose arrived today so i started straight away to replace it. the hose was split around the back at the top were it goes into the head. i also changed the alternator belts while i was at it,cos i had them in. they was bought when i fit a new alternator but they only sent one out at the time,...

i was keeping a close eye on it, so soon as the temp gauge started climbing above usual/norm i knew straight away something was a miss. like many of you all say it pays to have a nosey around your engine regular to see whats going on. the low coolant alarm does it's self test on start up and like ha...

yes it's the one behind the alternator.
do i have to drain the whole system or just replace hose top up and bleed?
