Re: Halfords Oil

Re: Tailgate/Bumper replacement

If you order from them and your luck is changing next year you may even get the same coloured spares so save the paint and faf.

The down pipe is twin skin one, they split on the inner wall which makes a racket onto the outer.

Re: Bongo won’t start after service? Help!

Did the service involve changing the glowplugs ?.

Re: Fuel leak

The pic shows the inlet manifold, the manifold delivers air to the engine, the air is under pressure from the turbo so any excess that the engine doesn't need is bubbling out at the joint, it has a gasket that may have failed so strip off and clean. Re: What Are Your Gadgets Called?

Mines called Michelle (chell) she does it all, no manual came with her so after 30 years I'm still struggling to understand some of her quirks.

Re: Haydn Coolant Alarm False Alert

Has the battery been tested and or the alternator, the alarm is very susceptable to lowered voltage, like when the glow plugs are still on after starting etc or the position of the live to it is not as advised in Haydn's instructions.

Re: Replacing Exhaust

One of the nicer jobs to do on a bongo as you can nod off while your underneath and the wife thinks your busy at it.
Get the gaskets and spare nuts and bolts and you should be fine.
Check that the mounting plate on the gearbox is present as some remove it🤫.
