Re: Fridge issues.
Hi, I have a different fridge but maybe a similar problem. Check your in-line fuses that run on the leads from your leisure battery, you may find it's only a blown fuse.

Re: Intermittent fridge charging - help please
You're very welcome BongoGog. Your supply of fuses should just about last as long as your Bongo.
I know JAL may seem expensive but they do only import good quality vehicles. The main thing is you are happy with the Bongo.
I have also found Phil to be really helpful with regard to aftersales. I ...

Re: Intermittent fridge charging - help please
Hi BongoGog,
I'm pretty sure it was just a power surge that caused the problem on mine. We were hooked up and the lights suddenly went out - I try not to overload and keep the use of electrical appliances to a minimum. I just switched the ZIG off and on and the lights came back on - it wasn't until ...

Re: Intermittent fridge charging - help please
Hi BongoGog,
Had similar problem recently with same fridge - it turned out to be one of the in-line fuses connected to the leisure battery. You will see two leads coming from the battery - check the fuses on each lead. One had blown on mine. Changed the fuse and fridge worked perfectly on hook-up ...

Re: Fridge
Thanks Winchman, appreciate the advice.
Re: Fridge
Hi Tony and Winchman,
Thanks very much for your replies - hopefully it will be something simple like a fuse.
It's not silent when it's working winchman and it's not running at all now.
Cheers,
Kev.

Fridge
Hi folks, following first trip of the year to Aviemore have just noticed that the fridge in my side conversion has stopped working.
Can anyone recommend someone in the Glasgow area that would be able to help.
Thanks,
Obi.

Re: awnings
Mine did ok on the Outer Hebrides and the nw Scottish coast this year. Have to say that we were quite lucky with the wind but was impressed none the less.
The good thing is that you can take them down in seconds to if you need to.

Re: JAL Conversions
I have a mushroom roof on my JAL van. Generally quite happy with the conversion, although could have done with an extra 12v socket in the back.
Loads of room with the mushroom roof, good storage etc. A bit on the heavy side to push up, but overall a good aftermarket option.
No doubting the quality ...
