Got it sorted from my local garage. They had an old bongo in there, so we borrowed the switch, and replaced a fuse and got the window up. New switch ordered, so all good.
Cheers.

Re: Help!!! Drivers window stuck down.
Hopefully the garage will be able to borrow one out of another bongo, then we should know if it's the switch or not.
Thanks for the wiring digram, but can't say it makes that much sense. Was hoping for a "just connect the red and green wire" type answer, but guess it's not quite that simple.

Re: Help!!! Drivers window stuck down.
Pretty sure it's the switch. It died before, and I replaced with an aftermarket switch a year or two ago, which has started acting up in the last few weeks. Wouldn't go down until I spent a while playing with the rocker switch, and then went down but now won't go up.

Help!!! Drivers window stuck down.
Bit of an emergency - the switch on the drivers side window has been dodgy for a while, but has now completely failed with the window down.
Does anyone know the wiring, or point me to a diagram so that I can make the correct connection to get the window back up. Then I can order an new switch ...

Re: bulging hose
It seems ok, when squeezing I wouldn't call it soft exactly. Off to France in a few weeks though, so probably best to get it looked at before then and might as well get the rest of the hoses inspected at the same time.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Mason alarm going off (part 2)
Thanks Ady - that's interesting what you say about the fan switch, as I wonder if this relates to lumpy starting issues I've had when cold. I'm not sure rad/waterpump/stat is ok or not, but would prefer not to have to replace them unless I'm sure there's an issue.

Re: Mason alarm going off (part 2)
So the van's been in the garage today. The mechanic said the fans weren't kicking in, and reckoned it was to do with the mason alarm, which he didn't have a good word to say about. They've disconnected the mason and say the fans are now working as they should.

Re: Mason alarm going off (part 2)
Thanks for all the replies. I'll give the garage a call tomorrow and get it checked again. My gut tells me something's not quite right, so best to listen to it. Will post back when I have a better idea.

Re: Mason alarm going off (part 2)
Hi Mike. It's just coming up to 100k km's. Supposedly genuine mileage, but who knows really.
Need to do a bit of research on rads. The shop has a copy one that's a lot cheaper than the mazda one. I know some copies are dubious, but will do some reading up on this one.

Re: Mason alarm going off (part 2)
The good thing about the Mason alarm is that you can see when the 'stat opens as you will see the needle move up and then come back down again.
I don't see the needle actually move about in a noticeable way. It more slowly creeps from one point to another. Does this mean the stat isn't opening ...

Re: Mason alarm going off (part 2)
Northern bongolow - yes, it's 4wd. 4 new accelera tyres last year, probably done about 2k on them. Had ATF changed in the January service by ADS, who I trust know what tyre doing. It's an R reg, fresh import about 15 months ago. The coolant was also flushed at the service so should be new, though ...

Mason alarm going off (part 2)
I previously posted about my mason alarm going off here http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=53298 , and have since thought all was ok, but just had it going off this weekend, so would appreciate some opinions.

Re: Mason alarm going off
Fitted a new battery yesterday, and taken it for a couple of long runs. The temp gauge is staying at it's normal point and can't get the beeps to go off again. Couldn't spot any obvious leaks either, and fluid level hasn't dropped since the top-up a couple of months ago. Not convinced it's fixed ...

Re: Mason alarm going off
Thanks everyone. Tomorrow i'll order a new battery, book it in to the garage and do some thorough inspecting of hoses.
