Re: converting to LPG
Great answer above, I would also think about where you can get LPG local to you. BP are pulling away from LPG so as they refurbish their stations they are taking them out. We are near Guildford and only have 1 place to buy it so we do now have to make a special journey sometimes. Its still worth it ...

Just renewed my 2003 senator Arizona for £66 with Frank Pickles. Its my third year with no claims and the premium has dropped every year.

Re: Nasty experiance in Walton on Thames.
Its a shame, we use CaCC sites a lot and always have great customer service. Most are franchised so good customer service is good business. Probably got a seasonal helper on a bad day. I would leave a post on their twitter page, these things tend to get a response as they are highly visible and they...

Re: Duvalay
Yes, I have on occasion. We have a caravan and use them in there all the time but I sometimes have the odd night in the Bongo. We also use them for guests in the house as they work fine on the floor. They are the perfect solution for sleeping on the seats in my opinion. I remove the headrests and so...

Re: CAN I TOW THIS VAN SAFELY?
Just make sure you get the heavy duty tow bar not the light weight one.

Re: towing a caravan
I used to have a 2 ltr but swapped it for a V6 to tow our caravan. I never towed with the 2 ltr but reckon it would not manage much more than a small trailer well.

Re: Caravan Towing Questions
Damp - Getcarter - Ouch! That was an expensive fix! If the damp isnt readily obvious by marks or smell, are there any other tell tale signs I should look out for? Look out for a spongy feel in the wall boards where there should be solid wood. The damp often gets in from the awning rails on ...

Re: Caravan Towing Questions
Just one thing to note if buying a used caravan, make sure you check for damp or get the caravan checked by someone who knows how to check. We bought a great looking 2003 caravan that looked perfect on the inside but turned out to have a major damp issue. It cost me over £2000 to get it sorted as lo...

Re: Caravan Towing Questions
Make sure you fit a heavy duty tow bar, the light weight one is no good for heavy caravans. I tow a single axel with a MTPLM of 1472 kg and this is fine for my V6. I work on a max noseweight of 85 kg and have a noseweight scale to check the loading Never looked back since getting a caravan. 20 minut...

Re: CURIOUS QUESTION TOWING LIMITS
We have a single axel big caravan, its 7.2M including the draw bar and weighs about 1500 kgs. I tow it with the V6 tintop no problem. Can we a bit slow on long hills but no real issue. The bongo is a great tow car, nice and steady. Loads of room inside, huge washroom with walk in shower and you can ...

I had my V6 converted at Battersea autogas in London but that might be a bit far for you.
My friend used PI Fuel systems in Petersfield for his Range Rover but I have never used them
