Mine is exactly like that, only get heat on the straight out mode setting when i ramp it up to the top setting, but when combined say with the foot setting, front screen etc. I get whatever temp I've set it at. I asked on here about it an didn ...

Re: Head gasket price, recommendation for garage in South Ea

That's a far price from Dave just for the head, he seems a very honest decent guy.

I took mine to him when it went but it's not there core business so put me in touch with API who are specialists and got the whole engine replaced....... I took the view that that was a better option in the long run ...

Re: New batteries said the AA man

I also had that little removable tray, obviously didn't fit the bigger battery so I took it out. Just make sure you securely fit the battery so it doesn't move around.

Just checked that battery against the one I bought, mine is slightly longer but other than that it's the same size. I really wouldn ...

Re: New batteries said the AA man

See the referenced post. It's easy once you get the right battery terminal orientation ;-)

If you can get to a euro parts depo, the price is even cheaper......15-20 off internet price.....that's your "free delivery". Just check stock before you go.

Re: New Battery Advice - Winter pack removal?

New battery was purchased, same as in the referenced post. Easy install. Was worried the battery clamps would touch the bonnet but not a prob. The leads that were on the second battery are all taped up. It's not worth even trying to remove as the wiring goes everywhere. Actually, I can't say I've ...

Re: New Battery Advice - Winter pack removal?

I thought batteries just came one way round, just found this post from a few days ago, showing a different battery from the same supplier.......shame it didn't come up on my search earlier  guess I'll be taking this one back.

Re: New Battery Advice - Winter pack removal?

old batteries out, redundant cables insulated, new battery purchased (euro parts - via their battery selector and it had the Bongo!) and ready to go in but................the +tive & -tive are the other way round to the Jap batteries and there isn't enough slack in the positive cabling to reach ...

New Battery Advice - Winter pack removal?

Hi

Bongo battery is "dead", starts non problems when the battery is jumped from another battery. My Bongo has the 2 batteries winter pack - they are Jap batteries, I'm assuming they are in parallel so they are both "dead". I know they are both present so that in the cold winters the Bongo will ...

Re: Wanted - suggestions for a beach site in South Wales

+1 for Hillend. Excellent site!!!! right on beach.

There is also 3 Cliffs Bay (possibly one of the most beautiful beaches in world)but usually fully booked at this time of year - still visit the beach though as it is ace for big kids!!!!!

Excellent, will give this a go at some point as I discovered my ariel had been broken by the garage but I'd not really noticed before driving off and changing from CD to fm and wondering why it didn't work......... .......for the tools etc. it'll be cheaper than a new one at £32+ or something

API - picking it up sometime this week.......it aint cheap!! £2K+ Finally have the Bongo back and a reliable van [-o< .....It's an investment, although I seem to have a habit of buying vehicles and having major costs, my VW T25 Westy needed a new engine, turbo.....etc etc when I bought it ...
