Re: MOT advisory - anti roll bar bush/pin??
Phoebe Freda is due her MOT soon, so I dug out the previous certificate to check the advisories as I had a worrying clunking noise happening the other day, felt like it was coming from the back end. I had a poke around but couldn't see anything obvious and exhaust looks intact and didn't wobble whe...

If that's not an excuse for a meet, I don't know what is. Yours got a name? My career as a mechanic began with this van. I wanted something I could work on easily just to get my hand in a bit with vehicles. I'd never done an oil change until this time last year. After fixing a few of the thi...

Re: Quick anti roll bar linkage question.
From these forums I can recall several using Vectra links, but seem to be plenty of "Bongo" link on feebay. Should be a quick & easy change over.

Regards Toby I'm running on Bridgestone Winter Blizzak Tyres 225 55 17 101V..........had to trim a bit off the front bumper t...

Re: SERIOUS QUESTION..DIESEL ALTERNATIVE...IE VEGETABLE OIL!
 Forgot about the effect on the fuel pump seals. The understanding I've got from reading other posts on here is that prolonged or heavy use of oil will "seek out weak seals" and/or harden what's there, that the replacement seals are then fine, etc. Worth doing a search for "veg...
