Re: Parking Restrictions in Great Yarmouth
From the Great Yarmouth Parking Services "Further to the points raised, the PCN was correctly issued to vehicle N36HNP as it was parked in an area that specifically prohibits that type of vehicle, a campervan. Other vehicles prohibited, as listed on the signs in the Fullers Hill car park, are c...

Re: Parking Restrictions in Great Yarmouth
What is it your vehicle classified as on your log book? Does it say "Motor Caravan"? Or is it "Private Light Goods (PLG)"? Hi, it says "Private Light Goods (PLG)". I gave a scan of my Logbook to Great Yarmouth Parking Services and they said this was not evidence as som...

Parking Restrictions in Great Yarmouth
Hi I was wondering whether you guys have come across this problem? I've got a Ford Freda and the only addition to it, since it left the factory, is an attached roof awning on its side. I've used my Bongo for 5 years now as my 'family car'. A People Carrier if you will. Anyway, after a lovely holiday...

Re: Best Awning For Freetop
I like my Outwell Country Road.. Outwell make very good quality tents which will last as long as your Bongo but they take some putting up.. Best if there is two of you and it will take you a good half hour to put it up properly. Could you tell me what type of surface your awning is pitched on. Than...

Re: Where does my front curtain rail go?
Many thanks...
I think I know what you mean.. My last picture the rail is in the right place, it just needs the metal legs swinging around and up inside the vents. Two self-tapping screws should secure the ends.
Cheers

Where does my front curtain rail go?
Hi I have bought a pair of Front Cab Divider Curtains from ebay and have just 'offered them up' into position and its not as simple as I was hoping, they don't appear to naturally want to fit anywhere in particular. The curtain rail has a connector at each end and two connectors in the middle on sma...

Recommend for MOTs & Servicing
Nick Clulee
Mazda Motor Engineer (Service and Repairs)
90 Prospect Road
Heeley
Sheffield S2 3EN
0114 255 1820
Friendly chap, understands grey imports and doesn't have a problem with them, in fact, he thinks generally they are in better condition than the UK cars!

Re: New Bongo Owner in Sheffield
Well, back from my travels! I did Hayfield and Kinder Scout first.. Van was great... but sleeping on the van seats :? not the most comfortable night's sleep I've had... So Beddgelert & Llandudno next and I took some 'self-inflating' mattresses for on top of the seats :) That did the job... Only ...

Re: New Bongo Owner in Sheffield
Cheers, Nige Bongo back from Mazda Specialists... I can recommend Nick Clulee of Heeley, Sheffield. He did a service (flush & oil change, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, sump washer) and give it an MOT for £228. Nice friendly chap, said the Bongo was in good condition with evidence of previ...

Re: New Bongo Owner in Sheffield
First fuel up done... 22mpg
I was hoping for about 27mpg... especially as I did a calm drive up to Leeds & back.
Time to pump up those tyres and maybe remove the Fiamma awning for the winter.
It's in for a service on Tuesday, that might help..
