Would there be room for day visitors on the big day? If so, we would definitely come.

Very worrying and frustrating. Hope it can be sorted soon. Allan's probably the best bet if you can get there OK.
Good luck.

Paul Furze - Bongo mechanic - update

We believe this is good news. We had used Paul Furze for general maintenance of our bongo for a number of years and we were disappointed to learn that he had gone out of business. He traded as Furze Motors - Mainly Mazda from a location in Southampton. He has written to us saying that he is up and r...

Re: New Forest meet up??

Hi Chipvan. Yes all sorted. =D> Bongo seemed to free herself but AJC Classics took her away to give a thorough checkover. We were very pleased with their service. I suppose we had got used to Paul of Furze Motors keeping her in tip-top order and feel a bit lost now that he has gone. We were sorry th...

We wanted to come to your meet at Studland, but this was the weekend that Bongo was seized up - but well done for arranging it.

Re: Advice desperately needed following 3month layoff

Update: Very pleased with the service provided by AJC who were happy to collect and deliver our Bongo (two journeys each covering about 20 miles) despite their existing heavy workload. =D>. Bongo has been thoroughly checked over and the front brake pads have been renewed at very reasonable cost. New...

Re: Advice desperately needed following 3month layoff

We are very lucky that our Bongo seems to have freed itself with no obvious damage. We have enlisted the assistance of AJC Classics of Hythe, Southampton, to give the brake and steering systems a thorough check and at this time we await their report. AJC have been mentioned favourably by members as ...

Advice desperately needed following 3month layoff

Don had a heart attack early November and our V6 has not been used since then. Now he feels OK to drive but Bongo not in the mood! Flat battery which we sorted, but think there is a problem with brakes as they seem to be locked on. Impossible to move Bongo off the driveway. Can anyone offer any help...

Re: Bitterly Disappointing.

I must admit that when I read RS's post I did feel very sorry for him as it didn't live up to the high expectations you have of your first meet with your Pride and Joy. Our first meet back in 2006 with our first bongo at Seaton in Devon ended up with us being loaded on to a low loader and towed away...

Re: Monthly meet for September

Hello everyone
This sounds good to us - will make sure we are in the area that weekend. Donkey Sanctuary might even keep an area in their overflow car park for us as they are very accommodating...............
