Despite the terrible weather this week, managed to get a few more bits done... Decided to undergo a bit of a conversion project prior to the Big Bash next week. Thanks Mike, That's good news. I found MR11 G4 warm LED light bulbs on eBay, which was what got me thinking. At 12v and 1W, 21 LEDs warm light at 2800-3000K and only £2.39ea incl P&P, they seemed ideal. I couldn't think of a reason why they wouldn't work, but car electrics just seem a little str...

Ok, silly question time... Can you fit a 12v light fitting, normally designed for use in bathrooms and kitchens (which would in that instance require a transformer), into a Bongo wired up as you would any other 12v light? Car specific 12v lights appear to be quite expensive, while 12v domestic light...
