Re: central locking remote control not working
Make sure the vehicle batteries are fully charged. I had the same problem with the locking being more and more sluggish as the battery dropped in voltage.

Re: airbag warning light on permanently
It happened to me and turned out to be the clock spring. Does the horn work OK? If it doesn't, that is the most likely reason.

Worth making sure it's not your wheel bearings.

Re: MOT certificate says miles not km
There seems to be no rhyme nor reason. My first three say km and then change to miles and the latest two weeks ago says miles on the fail certificate and kms on the retest. It seems to be whatever button the examiner presses when he enters the data. I'd say that if it's a newly imported car, it'll p...

Re: Airbag Light intermittently flashing on dash and horn not working
Certainly sounds like the clockspring. I'd make sure that it could have been them causing the problem before I started talking about putting them on notice or taking small claims court action. Seems unlikely that any work they have undertaken during the conversion could have caused it unless they ha...

Re: Parts suppliers.
Thanks for your help and thoughts guys. I've had a look as best as I can without starting to dismantle and can't see anything obvious that can't be replaced. Normally with a frontal collision which has caused any structural damage, the result would be that wings and other panels would be displaced, ...

Parts suppliers.
I had the misfortune, stupidity really, to rear end a car in slow moving traffic on the M6 yesterday. I'm concerned that the insurers may decide it is uneconomical to repair due to lack of parts availability. I've convinced them to let me use a repairer of my choice who is happy to carry out the rep...

Re: Map of LPG stations
Well worth having a look at this site. http://www.go-autogas.com They produce an annual book of maps that list all current LPG supplies and include a POI download for your satnav. For £7.95 you get the book, POIs and unlimited access to the website. I've found it invaluable over the years. Update ea...

Re: Interior Privacy Screens (Full Set)
Doesn't really seem too much of a hassle but there must be a thousand ways of marking them. My choice would be a thick tipped permanent marker, numbering them from 1 to 4 or OS F OS R etc.

Re: Central locking key fob
If this is an original fob, the problem is that Jap systems work on a different frequency to European motors and so are hard to source. If you can get one, you then have to code it to your motor. Some people seem to think that this is difficult or well nigh impossible to sort out so go down the rout...

Re: Defibrilator
Although it is desirable to have someone to hand who has undergone training, this is certainly not necessary. It is nearly impossible to make a mistake. Thats why AEDs are often available in public places to whoever needs them. As Joe says, they are designed to be used by anyone with a modicum of co...

Re: CENTRAL LOCKING FAULT
I have a similar problem. While the original remote unlocks the doors OK it is very hit or miss whether it locks them or not. The only time I can be sure of it working first time is after a long run or if I've had the battery on charge. I'm sure it must be to do with the charge in the battery. Perha...
