Re: best underseal
I did my JAL V6Bongo my self .. but decided to get my V6 Alphard properly done by Krown Rust proofers (Tipton) .... A brilliant service/job done in a nice clean workshop (actualy at the rear of a JDM importer) .. I sat .. waited and watched while the job was done .. the five doors .. bonnet 'braces'...

Re: Jalimports
A grade 3.5 is not the best ... ask to look at the auction sheet to check why .. Mine was a LPG / JAL a 1998 V6 mushroom roofed .. excellent mechanically .. had her for around five+ trouble free years .. conversion left a bit to be desired as the leckiy system in particular left a bit to be desired ...

My tank held 75 litres of gas winter and summer ....

Re: Lpg conversion
At that price he should fit Flash Lube for you as part of the Job .. (get him to fit it under the front bonnet ..not in the engine bay.. bottom right blue cap) .. http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o115/bridleman/CIMG2382.jpg Maybe worth getting the cam shaft seals done at the same time as it's only...

Yes that's the one ... if you use him (Boss is Abdul.. dunno what the big 'Polish' guys name is) mention Mike from Walsall passed yo on .. It's been about21/2 years since he fitted my V6 Alphard with a Romano system for £1200 ..(but still maybe haggle with Abdul ??).. He didn't do the cam belt as th...

Cam / crank seals are well worth getting done at the same time ..

Re: Two sheared wheel studs
As your studs have snapped off, there maybe enough clearance to 'drift' them out and use as a pattern to check diameter / source the correct ones ..??

Re: Two sheared wheel studs
Wheel studs are splined on the end and just need knocking out ... and the new ones knocking back in with the threads protected with a wheel nut .. Check before you buy as I believe there are two spline diameters either 13 or 14.3 mm .. Dunno how much room there is on the back so they can be done wit...

Re: service due
For a routine service any garage will do it .. Except for changing the oil and filters most is just a visual check any way .. there are no special parts to get from Japan .. I maintained my V6 Bongo myself .. http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o115/bridleman/cimg2274q1.jpg Check what you get from th...

Re: service due
Except for maybe a cam belt change any normal garage can service a V6 Bongo .. even my 13 year old grandson can change the 6 spark plugs .. !!
The oil / filter change .. brake pads and such are completely routine stuff .. even Halfrauds / Kwik Fit .. ATS etc: can do them ..
