Contact or Take it back to the garage that carried out the work to the FIP , it could be a TPS fault.

Re: Unusual Starting problem.

The voltage at the glow plugs is ok they are 11V rated, you could be correct about the ETC sensor it might just need the connections on the sensor and the extension cleaned. good luck.

I bled the system i must say these must be the only cars that are only bled properly when the bottom hose gets hot in my 50 odd years as a mechanic the bottom hose is or should be cooler than the top. But i am going to check the glow plug operation asap . As when it starts to play up after about 10...

Re: Over heating enquiry

OK, I've managed to borrow a compression testing kit, I'll do that and post the readings. I'm also tempted to get a digital temp reader to get a better idea of the engine temperature instead of just the 'mod' temp gauge. Could I ask, what is the compression kit, and how to use it ? Hi, it is my die...

Re: Power steering issues

Hi All, Given the recent weather i have had some great fun in the bongo! 4 wheel drifting and dognuts 🤪 all in a private car park of course. Unfortunatley my power steering is now playing up  At idle stationary i have no power steering. When i rev it to 1500rpm power steering works. Its parke...

Hi, this is what I've used on my Land Rover before now... https://www.difflock.com/drain-plug-m14-x-1-5-t11-5 Coupled with this makes oil changing not only quick but you can do it whilst wearing your whitest shirt! https://www.difflock.com/drainer-small-250mm Does anyone know the thread size and pi...

Re: Quick release oil sump plug

Quick release plugs are ok, just watch the ground clearance Pela pumps might be handy for ATF if no plug but I dont rate them for engine oil change, it takes seconds to remove the SP.

Re: Avoid or not?

Your best bet it to get the vehicle inspected, the MOT is only a rough guide there are many vehicles that have had a MOT and a couple of weeks later they proved to be Dangerous and should never been on the road . One that comes to mind was the failure of Two front wishbones , this could have been ca...
