Re: V6 Cam belt and oil seals change
Geoff, thanks for that, at least I have an idea now. Would that be over a couple of days?

V6 Cam belt and oil seals change
I suspect the crank oil seal needs replacing. I have used a "seal conditioner/additive" to get through the lockdown period. As things are starting to get moving again, I need to get it sorted. I know it isn't a cheap if a full job is done with water pump and tensioner etc. Can anyone give ...

Re: Seats like a bear trap!!
What I eventually did was to remove the rear seat entirely. I built something resembling a small table at the same height as the folded down seat and find this more comfortable and ideal for storing small items underneath. I replaced 4 seat anchor bolts with eye bolts made for rally belts/harness. I...

Re: Free full size spare
That would be great, thanks Richard. I'll ask Gordon (who lives near me) and/or Jilly (who we see quite often) if they will be kind enough to collect both. This has the great benefit I can get a matching pair of tyres. 8) Thanks guys. Edit: We're in Builth 2 weeks before the Bash so don't know if i...

Re: Oil Light Sender unit - Bongo V6
I was hoping I could locate the wire from the sender unit under the seat area as opposed to laying on the floor.
(have a job getting back these days after falling from a tree a few years back). I am trying to connect my TM4
to the oil sender.

Re: V6 Oil leak
I may try this over the next couple of weeks until I can get it in the garage for further investigation.
Thanks Geoff.
Thanks Geoff.

Re: V6 Oil leak
Yes cam seals, this then runs along the body of the engine filling the alternator then onwards till it drops of the rear onto the exhaust where it crosses over at the rear, you often get a hot oil smell when stopping at lights etc. when the air wafts back and gets sucked into the cabin air intake! ...

V6 Oil leak
The passenger side rocker cover gasket has always leaked a little and it came progressively worse. I checked the nuts and some seemed quite slack. I tightened them a touch and that seemed to solve it. The mot and service is due in 2 or 3 weeks and I propose to get the gasket replaced then. With all ...

Re: Free full size spare
Thanks, not now. Basicaly, if you're going to the Welsh Bash would you take it with you, please. If not I'll ask if anyone from the Cardiff area is going, and would be kind enough to collect it from you, but I'll do it nearer the time. Failing that we'll get in touch when one of us is passin...

Haydn's TM 4 dual sensor alarm
Have been with the caravan in mid Wales and encountered some minus zero temperatures even mid morning. Didn't realise that the alarm displays a flashing orange light whilst receiving below zero temperatures. Something to focus the mind on potentially dangerous conditions.
