Quechua Base seconds

Hi

We're after a quechua Base seconds pop up shelter if anyone's selling. Sadly they've been discontinued so none at decathlon.

Re: Bongo Meet up for family with young children

We might be up for this depending on where/when and if we still have our Van.

Our two are 9 and 10.

Re: Thinking of going to the dark side. Mot history jitters

Hi
Think we're going to walk away.

Caravan is a no no as hubby flat right refuses to consider one.

There will be plenty of options open to us as we're not in any hurry.

Thinking of going to the dark side. Mot history jitters

Hi Well after 6 fabulous years of Ford Freda ownership we're thinking of going to the dark side and are considering a VW t5 conversion. The bongo's just not big enough for us now the kids are growing and we've always been too scared to take it abroad. Not because it's ever let us down but because we...

Re: Which one would you choose?

Hi If you're wanting to camp with it I would have said the AFT was your best bet. A tin top with a side conversion might be a bit of a squeeze as I think the beds are around the same width as a standard single. Campers Scotland are great, we bought our unconverted 97 diesel AFT from them 5 years ago...

Just bumping this up, come on all you Scottish Bongo Fury members, where have you all gone?

Mountain Goat and Mulshy are coming and about 8 or 9 other vans from the Scottish Facebook group.

Re: 2016 Car seat for baby/combined car seats - help needed

Hi

We wrapped our belts round the bar under the seat to shorten them and this worked for us, however I think some of the Kiddy Car seats fit. The ones with the big chest/stomach guard bit.

Our two are 7 & 8 now so will soon be out of full seats and onto booster cushions hopefully.

Meet at Red Squirrel Glencoe 7th 8th Oct

Hi It's been so quiet for Scottish meets recently. Where's everyone gone? I've organised a meet via the Facebook group at the Red Squirrel on 7th 8th October if anyone's interested. Should be about 10 vans plus mountain goats MH. I know the squirrel's not everyone's cup of tea because of the lack of...

Re: Above-windscreen storage console

Although this sounds like a good idea, I wonder if it could be problematic if you had a bump. Maybe some sort of storage in the footwell might be safer. Personally we tuck our kindles in the door pockets and maps, batteries and torches in the glove box.

Rotten news but at least you bought it from a trader so hopefully will be covered under sale of goods act.

Good luck.
