just been out to compare teeth on abs ring and low and behold no abs ring.basically garage have fobbed me off.managed to get abs ring off old driveshaft using blowtorch and gentle tap with cold chisel.fingers crossed this will sort it out.will let you know how things go.many thanks to all for taking...

the garage has told me that when they changed driveshafts first time only one of them had the abs ring fitted. this probably explains why the abs light came on when i drove away.both shafts now have abs rings on. would the original fault still show ie do i need to get the ecu cleared,or should it ha...

hi all,just had both front driveshafts replaced on
4x4 2.5 diesel.after driving about half a mile abs
light comes on and stays on.both abs rings were
on replacement shafts.can anyone shed any light
on what may be causing this and how to remedy

you should see the container in front of you
