Forgive me if you already know this but it could be the engine is ticking over too fast.
Whats it showing in neutral before engaging drive?

Re: Loosing power on slight inclines
I agree this wouldn't have anything to do with the issue weather its the gearbox or engine sump. Did he give you a reason for doing this. Were oil levels low? Only thing I can think is he is suggesting an oil change and filter clean which is always good advice as a first thing to try with gearbox is...

Re: Transmission not changing up to 4th and lock-up not working.
Thats really good info. I am trying to get my head around how the box works and whats normal, may be what can be modified or adjusted. I dont think I have a problem generally as it seems fine most of the time I just feel its a bit late to change up and worse a but quick to kick down. This is mostly ...

Re: water dripping from under bonnet
I Don't know about the Bongo specifically but all the cars I have had with Air-con do this to some extent. The Car I have now seems to make an alarmingly large pool of water once stopped when the air-con has been used on a hot day. Its just a bi product if how they work. Cooling the air causes it to...

Re: Recommended roll out awning?
I am just about to do exactly the same thing. F35 Pro and T2 brackets.
I only looked at the brackets briefly but it looks like the bit that goes into the gutter just needs shortening by a few mm.
I would be interested to here what you had to do so that you were happy with the fit.
Thanks
Ian

Re: Dipstick!
Thanks All The part number on the packaging is correct it would seem WL01-10-450 So must be ok. Going to check again in case I am mistaken but am sure the one I have fitted is slightly different. That said I cant imaging a few mm extra on the level would make a massive difference. If it were lower t...

Dipstick!
No I am not trying to insult anyone  Bought a new dipstick for my 95 diesel Bongo but the one I got has the markings for L and F in slightly different places. F is a bit further up but the L is almost the same may be slightly lower. Its a genuine Mazda item and from a trusted source so can only...

Hi Tobybongo
I am still interested and that's a great find.

To be honest i have been threatening to for a while so may just have to bite the bullet.

Re: Turbo Oil Return Pipe
Wasn't cheap to be honest.
around £24.
But felt it was worth it to get a genuine part.

Ordered!
Thanks guys. Very painless.
Also spoke with Vospers (had a dipstick from them off ebay) they were helpful too.
So seem just my local dealer that wasn't that interested.
Cheers

Re: Turbo Oil Return Pipe
Thank you for the part number.
Will give that a try. Havent checked the flange yet but will do before ordering. but I can feel that the the pipe has gone quite hard so may just change it anyway.
Interesting about Warrington. quite close for me too so will give them a go.
Thanks

Turbo Oil Return Pipe
Hi All Dose anyone know where I can get a New oil return pipe for the turbo. I have a slight leak from this area and think this is what it is as it seems to have gone quite hard. Tried the our shop and bongo spares. Sure i could get a second hand one but would prefer a new one really. On a connected...

Re: Adding a 12v auxillary socket
Hi. I think you need to start tracing things back or eliminating things. It sounds like you have a short between pos and neg somewhere. The most likely is one of the sockets I think. Do you have a multimeter? this could make things easier. Here is how I would start. 1. Double check none of your join...

Re: Oil Pressure Guage
Perfect thank you.
Think I have found a T adaptor too.
Also did a bit of of digging to find out what the normal oil pressure should be and at 3000rpm should be between 60-70psi
Hope that's of some use to others.
Cheers
