We've never yet seen one that will work in the UK and always remove them.

Re: Mystery Warning Light
This sounds like an after market switch which has been fitted to operate the fog lights. Was it fitted in the UK or Japan? In the UK it should have a warning light to show that the rear foglights are on, but this shouldn't flash. Do you have a photo of it?

Re: How do I replace dashboard vent??
I've just had a look and can't see them on EBay. Try a breakers as you can get them out without breaking them - push the vent right in at the top so the vent's facing the roof, then you can grip it and pull it out. If it's stubborn, use a very small flatblade screwdriver to tweak the edge. To refit ...

Probably find them on Ebay and you'll be relieved to hear that you just push them in.

Re: Water hoses. Advice please.
This type of hose is only really for very short term use. If you were on holiday and expected it to last for several days, it might let you down. Allan's had bongos towed in where this hose has been used as a temporary repair for the top hose and it's only lasted for 2 days - it's pretty stiff, does...

Re: Diesel freezing
On Allans Landcruiser, there's a 'roller blind' inside the grill - lots of Landcruisers have them. The blind pulls right down across all the front, so no cold air gets in as you drive. It helps it to warm up much more quickly, but you have to remember to open it when the weather warms up. I e...

Re: Steam out of exhaust! can these prices be right?
No worries Tom, it was worth all your effort in the end. 12 months later it's still going strong...so Allan said to let you know that he's saving all the blocked filter jobs for you...if you're ever down this way.I had a lot of help from Doone and Allan, thanks again.

Re: V6 MOT Failure Emissions
Al just left the lid off at the garage, but there's the possibility of the top sucking itself shut when the engine's revved, so you may prefer to remove the filter. Just don't drive through any lumpy air on the way there. Mazda main dealer will be able to supply replacement parts.

Re: V6 MOT Failure Emissions
Al had this on a V6 - the lamda reading was low and the CO high. The customer didn't want extra expense at that time, so (with his agreement) he unclipped the top of the airbox where the filter sits and it passed.

Re: How to improve my Horn !
We had the Dukes ones on our blue bongo and we are going to fit air horns to the works bongo. :D Strictly for off road use and with a seperate switch, so the MOT tester is happy. Will prob fit a loud horn instead of the standard one also. There're a lot of nutty drivers around at the moment, jumping...
