Yes that's the one. Watch the sealing washer if you swap it
It's not the same as the dashboard sensor, if you look at the diagram posted above you may see the dashboard sensor just to the front of the one you need. Ian at the shop sells em.

Re: freda 2.5td slow start from cold problems
It uses the sensor above the starter motor drivers side in the head, it has a 2 wire connection, careful it's a weird connector. If the end of the sensor wobbles even a tiny bit, it's a metal and plastic 2 piece jobby, replace it, with a gen Mazda one as these are more acc than copy parts that are c...

Re: freda 2.5td slow start from cold problems
One works when the aircon is switched on and the coolant temp is below approx 40 50 deg, the other only works when the coolant is below 10 deg, when 10 deg is reached it turns off. They are both controlled via the ecu. What they do in action is pull the throttle up a tad when the coolant is cold/ co...

Might be an idea to go along to one of the local club meets, talk to people there, most are willing to boast/ chat about the set up they have opted for, they all seem to be a little different and personalized. This way you may find you only require the simple and usually cheaper option as bob above ...

Maybe faulty starter, drawing to many amps.
Are you petrol or diesel, there are 2 different starters for diesels, winter pack and non winter pack models.

Re: Tail light fuse keeps blowing - HELP!
If you take the back door inner panel off you can test through the wiring to the number plate lights etc. The number plate lights are known to rot at the back of the bulb holders, then you could check for one or more broken wires inside the rubber grommet that goes from the roof body to the door, th...

I presume you have the 90 deg mounting /adjusting bolt that goes through the middle.
It should rotate via the bearing mounted in the centre of the pulley, these are known to sieze, these are getting harder to source now so either bongo spares or replace the centre bearing in the pulley.

Re: Struggling with hills at speed
Look on top of the fuel pump, there is a diaphragm, the small bore pipe goes into the top on an angle. Remove screws from top 4 I think!, Clean out the oil that will be in there stopping the diaphragm from operating. Check it's not split too. This increases fuel when needed. Clean out the pipe to th...

Re: Issues since being laid-up
Suck the fuel forward from the tank to the filter housing, then fill the filter then bleed up to the banjo filter at the pump or you may flatten your battery trying to bleed the pump to injectors later.

Re: Issues since being laid-up
There is a filter inside the fuel tank, it's on the end of the pickup pipe only accessable if you take the top of the fuel tank.
Instead just blow back to the tank from the fuel filter to clear it.
