Re: Advice on fitting reversing sensors please?

I wonder if this is asking for trouble: http://i465.photobucket.com/albums/rr20/dvisor/Bongo/P1050872.jpg The control box just about fits inside the rear light cluster, but its wedged in pretty tight when the cluster is fitted. It means I can run the cables straight down behind the bumper to the se...

Re: Waxoyl sprayer

Yes, it was sat in a bucket of very hot water for ages. I was hoping the tube would give a fine spray rather than a "hose pipe" effect sluicing gallons of waxoyl around the place. Thanks Hi, I noticed that you added 500ml of White Spirit, what quantity of waxoyl did you add it to. It seems...

Re: Waxoyl sprayer

Hi, I've tried the pressure vessel sprayer with the flexible tube attachement, but I'm having problems. The waxoyl is coming out fairly runny (I've thinned it with 500ml white spirit) but the spray is running more like a stream of water and clogs quickly when you stop the flow. I have tried it on o...

Re: Body panels or panel beating after hit and run.

Sorry to hear that. I once had a mobile library reverse into my parked car and made a right mess of it. No-one around to see what happened. Another Hit & run - but they had no choice but to admit it when I pointed out the paint marks left on mine - not many nauseous lime green vehicles out ther...

Re: cylinder head sensors

Nope its definitely the radiator fans. I changed the sensor near the handbrake but it made no difference. I'm a bit technically challenged (mentally), but am I right in saying that, having changed both of those sensors on the side of the head, and one of them supplies info to switch the rad fans vi...

Re: Of Course its Friday 13th! Major Electrical Fault V6

Hi,check inside the distributor cap for dampness and clean.

When its dark try to start the engine and look out for any signs of arcing from the cap /leads /and coil etc.
If that does not help tomorrow is the 14th.

Good luck

Re: Ridiculous 14 MPG Help!!

Probably best if we don't let our fuel gauages get too low. We've been alright on a couple of other Bongos we've owned, but we recently let this one get REALLY low and picked up some muck so had to change the fuel filter. (But thank goodness for the fuel filter!) en wondered why this happens whe th...

So, the fans ARE bloody different as I suggested. 8) I think you have a secret longing to train as a mechanic, so you'd know all this already. You'd better put 'overalls' on your Xmas list. :) So, the fans ARE bloody different as I suggested. This calls for a completely new thread TOPIC - FAN...
