I'm looking at a local Bongo, 1997 2.5D Automatic 4WD. It seems to drive fine and not being restricted to 'Limp Mode' however the Hold Light is flashing. As its not in limp mode can I assume that this is maybe an electrical connection fault? I believe it might also be a fault with the device fitted...

Hi Mystic Meg here, sorry not able to give you the details you require , I would suggest you remove a wheel and check the back for manufactures name and also load rating. The tyre size in on the tyres ,the front and rear tyres could be different size.

Might be worth checking which sort of oil ? The most common oil leak is from the ATF oil pipes running from the gearbox to the cooler at the front, in which case £800 sounds rather expensive! If its engine oil then its a different matter as I would assume its a head gasket or similar on the engine ...

You dont need to take the wing off, just remove a hinge knock the pin out and measure pin , put the pin back in a refit hinge order kit .

You could get your self a Lubricheck oil tester, that will tell you when you need to change oil , it will let you know if your cheep oil is ok.
