There is a large 'O' ring between the baker light cap and the metal body dizzy .. Maybe as said .. the Indication of the ignition system not being 100% .. As a stop gap solution spray the dizzy cap / plug leads with some Water Dispersal fluid (WD40) .. New spark plugs are an easy DIY job and usually less than £12 a set of six off eBay .. Dizzy cap / rotor / plug leads can be 'awk...

I have always used normal 'C' ended brake spanners .. or mole grips on other peoples knackered pipes ..

I've had one for a couple of years .. holds it's charge very well and while still using my Bongo my V6 Alphard was left unused on the drive and the battery 'self discharged' several times .. started the 3.0 V6 without any hassle .. They are an very light / handy /will fit in your pocket charge phone...

My son as a Smart car (with not so smart engine sump without a drain plug) .. Have you checked if you have a sump plug .. some do ..?? The more efficient way to flush out the gearbox .. and .. the toque converter is to dis connect an oil cooler pipe at the bottom of the radiator .. with the HAND BRAKE HARD ON and box in 'P'ark .. Place a measured container under the open end ...

Ben as not taken up there offer .. I have 'advised' him to hold out for more cash .. or take the offer .. and .. the Salvage .. I have not seen any pics of the damage .. he says it's the O/S wish bone ... I changed all the ball joints last year, I know the wishbones are relatively in expensive .. so...

I never had any luck trying to use the diagnostic plug so I checked the four wheel sensors with a muli meter .. The leads from the sensors can be uplugged to test .. the reading should be around 1600 / 1640 Ohms .. Search .. for old ABS posts like ... http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/viewtopic.php...

Normally the hand brake shoes in the drum needs backing off with a screw driver blade in the adjusting ratchet via the hole (at the bottom) in the face of the drum .. But some times the friction material for the hand brake can come on bonded from the steel shoe .. getting jammed and may need a three...
