Re: V6 Petrol : Noise from belt/pulleys

I think the pulley looks like a solid one either belts on its way out or a bearings drying out perhaps

Re: V6 cranking but not starting - run out of ideas!

i think i would pull the head or heads of where the valve damage is visible if thats possible in situ with the v6 to see if the damage is just the valves or if its holed a piston if its just valve damage should be quite easy to put in somre replacement valves and bobs your aunty

Re: EGR Blanking

I think there’s no doubt the diesels run better with the egr blanked of I think the problem is the output of nitrogen particles or something similar once the temperature goes up is bad for us I don’t think the bongos run a particulate filter either to try to make it cleaner

Re: Drooping nearside rear bumper ?

The near side rear bracket that most towbars bolt to is not fit for purpose it’s a lightweight bracket purely to bolt the bumper to even seam welding it would only make it barely adequate imo

Re: Bongo Breakdown (Paris)

had a similar problem with vivaro van turned out it was the crank sensor all the symptons seemed to be more of a fuelling problem wouldnt hurt to try one in there even if its one of another motor so long as the air gap is reasonably close and it goes in the hole
