We stayed at a great site just up the road.
Cycled the Monsal Trail Saturday and sampled the delights of the beer festival at Buxton Sunday.

We had a great time, We contributed to the local economy by visiting the pub (The Yakkers) for meals and liquid refreshment. On Saturday we caught the local bus and had a day in Kendel which was good fun. Weather was OK didnt really rain until Monday. Jo you need to take a bit more notice of the cow...

Is it possible to catch a bus into Kendal on the Saturday with it being Easter.
We would need to catch it reasonably close to the site as walking is now difficult.
