Thanks guys, the roof is indeed an after market fit - it's JAL's Mushroom roof. We've only had it up very briefly due to the weather but are looking forward to sleeping up there in drier and warmer times! The quality of conversion is all-round excellent so I'd definitely recommend getting a vehicle...

Just been to Edinburgh and back,steady 60-65mph,brimmed the tank at the start of both journey's and averaged just over 34,first time I've checked the mpg in nearly 5 years of ownership and happy with that.
B.t.w.it's a 96 diesel 4wd.

Seem to remember there were cases of some stereo's draining power even when supposedly turned off.Do you have a leisure battery or any kind of conversion?
